Client throws error message every time you edit game settings if its read only. Seems ill have to live with "correcting" the file myself. Things i do for english language...

By the way - vanilla way of solving the issue would be:

Hello, my russian client keeps switching from english and it seems I always have to check "GameOption.txt" if its not "5" again. Made a copy of english sound folder and renamed it to russian. No luck there.
