Help identifying this song

Postby KAMIKADzE » Sun 2019.09.29, 23:39

Basically the title says it all - help is required in identifying this song:

Most likely it's a song of some 80s German band, most likely it's named "Check it in, Check it out" or "Like the wind", for more info and possible leads visit THIS subreddit.

You should use a music recognition app.

It's too old and unknown for that to succeed. People even tried going though various old paper-databases in different countries, without any success. When this song was recorded there wasn't any YouTube, Soundcloud, etc., where your new underground bands would start off. It wasn't that long ago when songs were not recorded at all and these days they are labeled as "folk-songs", but in reality all of them have authors, that will never be known. While this song is not THAT old, it's still from the time when "unpopular" songs were vanishing, and this one would have as well, if someone wouldn't record it (the band itself was most likely disbanded soon after). Even today, if, for example, I'll delete all records of my music on the web - there is a very high chance that all of them will vanish, even if there are those few people that have downloaded them for /whatever reason (they'll eventually die and record will be lost), and those can be obtained by anyone at the moment, not a short-time appearance on some local radio station.
