This is not a joke, but an official post that Wizardry EU and US will shut down on July 31, 2014.
Currently there is no info on ability to transfer to JP server as it is handled by different publisher.
While it is going to end there will be something that should help you to to explore all game content:

We will provide details on upcoming sunset activities soon, but wanted to alert you of the sunset now so you could maximize your experiences during the remaining time left in the game.
For current Wizardry Online members, we will be upgrading your membership to SOE’s new All Access membership. Under this new All Access plan, you will be able to continue to enjoy membership benefits in Wizardry Online until it sunsets, in addition to having top tier access in SOE’s other membership games.

So now we have a bit more of clarifications:
1)Wizardry Online EU/US is going to shut down 100%.
2)All Websites and Forums associated with Wizardry Online will be removed after the service shuts down.
3)Event NPCs for the Christmas and Valentines events will be available until the sunset of the game.
4)The Double Experience NPC will also be available until July 31, 2014.
5)We're decreasing prices in the Marketplace by 50%.
6)All previous Spheres are now back in the Marketplace.

TL/DR: Final Update/Events are totally crap and there is no real help in discovering whole game to the end as was previously stated.

Thanks for the info, I have come to this forum back to see if there is any new MMO worth a try. Now I know that it is surely not it.

Always sad to hear an MMO closing.

Well Wizardry is a great MMO, it's a pity that it goes down, poor management team, especially advertisement team if there was such one at all.
