■ Adjustments of abnormal state (Crowd Control) effects at PvP
Before 18.04 maintenance, Stun, Stiffness and Knockback effects were treated as the same "Effect A". The effects of Bound, Knockdown, Offset were treated as "Effect B". Grab was treated as "Effect C", and it was possible to apply the effect if target was in a state other than invincible.
This method was used to express skills characteristics well, but the skills of each class applies different states, and as a result this boosted certain classes compared to others.
Especially classes with Grab effects had substantial advantage, since it was handled differently from other abnormal state effects. Therefore we adjusted abnormal states to equalize classes as much as we can.
Of course, this change became only a part of the overall balance adjustment, and we will continue to carry out adjustments for all classes in the future.
This update changes are shown in the table below:

- Abnormal state effects (Knockdown, Bound, Offset, Grab, Knockback, Stun) can be applied up to 2 times, and they will not be applied for 5 seconds after the second application. - After applying abnormal state with first skill (1st time), it will gain immune state for 0.3 seconds, and then the next abnormal state effect will be applied (2nd time). - After using the first skill to get into the immune state, the next abnormal states are not applied during immunity and are accumulated instead, to make it possible to use skills combo. However, this may be changed in the future with another balance adjustment. - Smash (Down, Air) and Stiffness effects are not included in the number of crowd control limit. - In a lying down state, Stun, Stiffness, Knockback effects are not applied, and they will not be included in the number of crowd control limit. |
■ Added a new character ability value "Adventure Fame"
The purpose of Adventure Fame introduction is to give you the feel that your character gets stronger over time and at the same time to give the characters with weak equipment a chance to stand against stronger opponents.
Adventurers can get additional bonus effects after reaching Adventure Fame stages, and with ability to check current Adventure Fame it will give another goal and satisfaction of reaching it.
<Adventure Fame Calculation>
(Primary AP + Awakening AP) / 2 + DP = Adventure Fame
Adventure Fame gives bonuses and will be useful for adventurer's growth.
In addition, the PvP balance will be continuously improved using Adventure Fame bonus from now on.
Adventure Fame can be checked in the equipment window, and only you can check it.
Added items that allow you to check in which fame state your character currently is.
■ Adjustment of hunting grounds in Valencia and Kamasilvia regions
The speed of hunting increases with the improvements of offence, speed and skills, but because monsters strength is fixed, over time, they become very weak for the rapidly growing adventurers, disrupting the balance.
We think that the situation in which monsters die right after the skill use reduced the fun of hunting, and also caused a situations in all hunting grounds with an excessive monopoly of players with a high AP and classes specialized in fast movement with wide attack range.
So we felt that there is a need to rebalance hunting this time, using Adventure Fame and bonuses.
The droprate of main items in hunting grounds that require high offensive power was raised, so that you can get higher income along with the pleasure of hunting.
We have doubled the droprate of main accessories in the hounting grounds.
We are planning to continue adjusting the balance of higher lvls hunting grounds to give a better rewards.
Details are as follows:
- With the addition of Adventure Fame, monsters AP has risen in Valencia and Kamasilvia regions. Adequate AP display has been changed and will now display the recommended AP. The recommended AP means the state in which hunting will be most fun with mentioned AP.
- You will be able to experience that hunting efficiency increases dramatically each time you reach a certain AP value. As the character growth, this adjustment will maximize the pleasure of fighting monsters.
- The proper AP changed to the recommended AP, and the hunting efficiency increased by increasing the AP.
- In addition, Valencia and Kamasilvia hunting areas efficiency will be continuously revised, including the items droprate applied in this update.
■ Added "Capra Enhancement" function that can definitely enhance (e.g. 100% chance).
In existing enhancement system there is a low chance to enhance from IV grade to V, etc. This caused the phenomenon that players could not rise the desired equipment enhancement grade for several years.
As a result, when it reaches a certain level, it may take from several months to more than one year to raise the AP or DP by 1 or 2, and the gameplay changes became sluggish.
Without impairing the efforts of adventurers who tried in the conventional way, we introduced an additional safe enhancement (forced enhancement) system. It is called Capra Enhancement.
Capra Enhancement is one of the enhancement methods and it doesn't mean that it will be easy to get enhanced items.
In order to obtain the highest level items, it will be necessary to make similar efforts as with existing method.
