You can find a lot of info about the game on their site.
Shortly it's a mix of Lineage II and mechanics of C9 thus resulting in an open-world with RB, Castle sieges, etc. etc. using ~C9 graphics and non-target mechanics (but unfortunately it's only partially non-target as it has auto-to-targeting or however to call that - the system that will target automatically once you move your view on the enemy helping you not to miss... which is bad IMO, though you can still miss if enemy is moving [it's not a missile]).
First CBT in Korea was held on 17-23 October of the previous year.
Second Korean CBT will start on 4.4.2014.
I will add some screens and videos in the next post, I think they will explain better than a few words.

Some info on the current game state:
- There are eight confirmed classes - Fighter, Predator, Blader, Tamer, Sorcerer, Wizard, Valkyrie and Ranger.
- There is no healing class in the game.
- The classes will not be gender-locked. But each gender got different skills.
- There are 3 confirmed Races - Humans, Elves and Giants.
- Black Desert has two factions: The Republic of Calpheon and the Kingdom of Valencia
- Mounts so far - horses, elephants and tamed dogs.
- It is stated that there is no lvl cap, but once you reached Level 50 it's getting very hard to level up.
- Black Desert will provide many instanced dungeons, as well as open world dungeons. Open world dungeons do not require any loading times.
- Open world PvP
- Castle system in Black Desert is complete ripoff from Lineage II, except that you can have few castles at the same time.
