Not many players, possibly even none other than me, know that devs actually call West on Black Desert Map - East and vice versa. They even keep a guideline maps for themselves in the actual client of the game, for unknown reason, moreover they're kinda outdated.

So does this mean that BDO Map is upside down? Well, it's up to your interpretation, devs call many things differently, than what they are called publicly, and the Map itself is actually true to the game World model and engine, so you can ignore the devs and keep your world view, or think like the dev
