Daum merged with Kakao

It's already kinda dated info, but I just found out about it. Basically both Daum Games and Daum Games EU have been rebranded to Kakao Games and Kakao Games EU respectively. Also they created Kakao Games USA.

So far this had no influence on the game, but I won't be surprised if they'll change BDO KR domain in the future or something like that. Since the actual people behind both KR and EU/NA publishing companies are still the same - there probably won't be whole lot of changes, other than renaming Daum to Kakao. As for the changes to the actual game - well...there probably won't be any, other than the possible price changes of cash shop, since developers are still Pearl Abyss.
