I can help with translating loc files into any language if it is officially supported by BDO.

Here is an example of an English translation for the Japanese server.

I don't think there is anyone crazy enough to help me with my translation, definitely not for free. This patch is a custom translation that predates official EU/NA =D it would probably take someone a few weeks to just get on the line of what's going on here, and if said someone played BDO enough.
Just read the red text in the main post of this thread.

Ideally it would be cool if someone could actually keep a separate thread with EN Patch for JP client, that would cover the server differences (there are not that much these days, mainly cash shop and events). As for your example - it is just pure EU/NA merged with JP, but it would also be nice to have a pure EU/NA thread for lazy people, if you'll manage to keep updating it with each patch, I have planned to redo projects for BDO Patcher few years ago, so that people could update my patch, EU/NA, or a mix of both with 1 button click, but due to the lack of time and support it's still somewhere at 30-40% and I don't have any plans to finish it any time soon.

The localization that I dropped above was created by my program. The main advantage is that my program checks for updates and localizations from which the translation is taken (EN) and localization updates for the region where the player plays (JP). After one of the languagedata has been updated or both, my program automatically updates the translation from JP to EN and uploads it to Google Disk.

I can expand my program and make it so that the localization for the Japanese server is automatically translated not only into English but also into other languages. The only problem that may arise is if I have to notify about translation updates manually. Sometimes I just forget about it or do not have the time and opportunity to write about the update in time.

I also don’t know how well the translation I posted above is done, since I don’t play on the Japanese server and can’t check it.

You're free to post any amount of threads for any amount of servers and translated languages, or make an all-in-one, or server based, or...well basically we don't have any restrictions on this forum, as long as you stick to the rules and common sense. I'm all for it - the more options for people the better (as long as they aren't a duplicates).
You can write in your main post, of the thread, that it's automatic and users should check manually when it's updated. From my experience of posting this patch, when I did it on the other platforms, before resurrecting this forum, even if I'd update the main post with the date of update (similarly to what you can see in the main post here), but there wasn't an option to make additional posts that would be plainly visible to and/or notify others - people would still contact me in PM or comments, asking something along the lines of "update when?", "when update?" =D, that said - I think that people that managed to create account on this forum aren't at that level of intelligence and won't bother you with such questions a whole lot (might happen sometimes), but the rate of registered visitors here is very low, most are lurkers. Anyway, it's just your preference to notify people or not, there is no obligation to.

Nothing prevents you from converting it to a readable format via BDO Patcher, it won't be difficult to distinguish Japanese and English characters =D (that's for the absence of any translation), you could even go all the way in and check the relevance of translation (not everything is exactly the same) but obviously that will require too much of your time, my point is that nothing prevents you from checking it, even if you don't have the client. The only thing that you can't do/check without the client is repacking.

In my translation, 1,220,921 lines are translated into English, the remaining 24,990 lines are left in Japanese. This means that the translation is 98% complete, but I have no idea if this translation is correct, maybe it breaks dates or gives wrong descriptions and numbers in the store. I can't check a million lines.
Well, it's not that important, I just wanted to hear some feedback on my localization.

Is it possible to implement auto-update and auto-posting of messages on your forum?
For example, when updating the localization, my program sends only two arguments to the discord bot so that it updates the required date and, depending on which date was updated, it either simply edits the message or completely deletes it and creates a new one.

Well, it's not that important, I just wanted to hear some feedback on my localization.

Dates, numbers and similar stuff is mostly done with macros these days (some are still left in text form, mostly relevant to PvP, like wars, don't ask me why), so they're fine in all of the official translations, translators do make errors here and there, but, unless you're going to translate everything, you're not going to catch those automatically, and they do fix them later on (albeit sometimes it takes them a while~~~, if nobody complains that is). There are some weird translations in EU/NA that I would be like *THINK* "what?" if I used it for the first time (for example the letters choice for numbers shortening), but for the most part it's fine.
As for the correctness...well, purely technically EU/NA translation has a HUGE amount of incorrect translations, gigantic, doesn't matter if in comparison to JP or KR original, naming is completely out of hand (you'd never figure out the names of many costumes, in whichever way you'd try to communicate the name to the player that plays on original translation, NPCs, quests, even the class names, and the list goes on), PC Cafe stuff is Events stuff, and a huge amount of westernization on top of that. Does any of that makes the game unplayable? - no, it's still the same game.
The worst part is definitely the cash shop and events-related stuff, wrong items translations, numbers, dates, quests, etc., although most of that is left untranslated (your remaining lines) and remains correctly-untranslated, the cross-server stuff becomes a bit misleading, but shouldn't cause too many problems for those who read events.
Other than that - there are a few JP-specific things, but they aren't that important.
And even after all of that^ I'd still say that it's better for most of the players, than my patch, simply because the translation rate is way higher.

No built-in feature. Nothing prevents you from using external solutions, I haven't used any myself, so can't recommend anything, but I know that there are a few available, for example SFAP, no idea if you'll be able to stick it all together with your program.
